The future of our forests is vital to the health of our planet and communities. At the Nicholas School, we are advancing forestry education and research that responds to the most pressing environmental challenges鈥攆rom climate change and biodiversity loss to sustainable land management.

Our faculty and students use the as a living laboratory, where immersive, field-based learning is paired with interdisciplinary teaching and real-world research.

This hands-on learning enables graduates to think critically, act purposefully, and make forest management decisions for the broadest benefit of current and future generations. With donor support, we can strengthen the people, programs, and resources that equip aspiring forestry leaders to steward complex ecosystems and advance innovative climate solutions.
