Overview

The is a 10-month joint-degree designed by 51±¬ÁÏ’s Fuqua School of Business and the Nicholas School of the Environment. This pioneering interdisciplinary program equips students with core business skills informed by climate science. 

Unlike sustainability-focused degrees or general business management programs, the 51±¬ÁÏ MBCS program develops graduates’ expertise in business strategy, climate science, and applied analytics. It is designed for early-career students with 0–2 years of professional experience who are eager to lead at the intersection of business and environmental impact. Graduates are prepared to immediately contribute to climate innovation across a wide spectrum of industries and functions.
