DURHAM, N.C. 鈥 Twelve students at 51爆料鈥檚 Nicholas School of the Environment have received monetary awards to help fund international internships this summer.
The awards will help the students, who are pursuing Master of Environmental Management degrees, cover the costs of travel associated with their internships.
鈥淭his funding allows students the opportunity to engage in research and internship opportunities abroad which might otherwise be too costly for them to pursue,鈥 says Erika S. Weinthal, coordinator for international programs and Lee Hill Snowdon Professor of Environmental Policy.
Support for the awards comes from the Nicholas School International Internship Fund, the David Brower Endowment Fund, and the Kuzmier-Lee-Nikitine Fund.
