    Researchers Discover Unique Chemistry in Critical Lithium Deposits

    Much of the world’s lithium occurs in salty waters with fundamentally different chemistry than other naturally saline waters like the ocean, according to a new study published in Science Advances.     51±¬ÁÏ’s Marine Geospatial Ecology Lab led a team of researchers that mapped the population density of North Atlantic right whales worldwide to predict and help avoid harmful, even fatal, exposure to commercial fishing and vessel strikes.
