Nicholas School Honor Code

The honor code observed in the Nicholas School of the Environment (the “Nicholas School”) follows the principles set out in the 51�� Community Standard. Its procedures draw on those developed by the 51�� undergraduate judicial system.
Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) Guidelines

Notification of Enrollment

Students who plan to matriculate in the fall should provide notification of enrollment in their prerequisite coursework no later than May 15.
Pass/Fail Grading Basis

Students wishing to take a graded course on the pass/fail grading basis must discuss their interest with the instructor. If the instructor agrees, the student must submit a Pass/Fail Request Form.
Permission Numbers

For courses requiring instructor consent to enroll, the student must obtain a permission number from the instructor.
Prerequisite Enrollment Notification Form

Professional Schools Cross Career Registration

Professional Student Leave of Absence Request

The Nicholas School permits students to take up to two semesters of leave of absence for personal reasons upon completion of at least one semester of study.
Professional Students’ Guideline for Contesting a Final Grade

This policy provides the Nicholas School’s process and procedure for reviewing final course grade disputes from Master of Environmental Management (MEM), Master of Forestry (MF), and 51�� Environmental Leadership MEM (DEL-MEM) students.
Program Change / Add Requests

Students may request a change to their program area of study up until the end of the first year of enrollment by submitting the Program Change Request form.
